Aisha Visram Memorial Scholarship

Aisha Visram
Aisha Visram

Aisha Visram was a smart and talented student with a bright future. Excelling in sciences and math, Aisha had high aspirations and planned to pursue a career in medicine. But in her final year as an honour student at Langley Fundamental Middle Secondary School (LFMSS) Aisha was diagnosed with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, a rare and fatal condition. She succumbed in February of 2021.

To pay homage to Aisha and to remember her as a stellar student, her family including parents, Helen and Joe and two older brothers, Quinn and Liam are offering $10,000 over five years to provide scholarships to LFMSS students who will be pursuing careers in health care.

Aisha was an accomplished student who loved her family, friends and animals. In appreciation of the overwhelming support that she received throughout her struggles with an unrelenting disease, the family would like to help others in their ongoing educational endeavours.
